Your board members are required by tax-code, based upon our non-profit status, to make a charitable investment in the community. This year the Crescent Society board chose to recognize the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.

Bob Hickey presented the Oklahoma City Community Foundation $240 from the membership treasury of the Crescent Society. We have a strong thread to this organization. Many of you will remember Dilip Patel (engineering). Dilip and his wife,Vibha, are actively involved in the OKC Community Foundation. In addition to their grants to the Foundation, the Patel’s have established charitable gift annuities to the Foundation. Dilip, who is one of our own, is paying it forward to make life better for the youth of our community and those less fortunate than ourselves. We appreciate Dilip and Vibha Patel.
